The Riding House Cafe

The Perfect Escape.

You've been trawling the shops all morning, missed Lunch because retail therapy has taken control, sat down to try on a pair of shoes you don't need and realise how wonderful it feels to be off your feet .. Just a couple more steps and The Riding House Cafe will take you in with open arms.

The decor is open and fresh but keeps a cosy feel with a mix of wooden and velvet chairs and couches. Surrounded by lampshades and candles, the atmosphere is perfect for drinks after work, lunch with friends, brain storming meetings and (dare I say it) sitting alone and watching the world go by!

The cocktails are as gorgeous as the atmosphere. We went for the Bermondsey Breeze and the Toblerone. The first will refresh and reinvigorate with one sip. The second, served in a milk bottle will instantly put a smile on any face!

The melt-in-the-mouth wintery sounds of Bon Iver and Ben Howard were the icing on the cake, (which looked delicious too!) Finally, a note to my friends and family: this is were you will find me from now on.
